Hi guys, im trying to make a chat room thing with TGF, just so i can get some practice with making an online game. I can get it to connect to a server, but it can never sign on  any1 know how to make it sign on, or got an example i could use please? any help would be very much appreciated.
the game i plan to make is an online tamagochi game

Are you connecting to a MooServer (like Clickpool) or an actual Chat server? And which Moo extension are you using? Paste whatever code you think will be relevant.

thanks.
i was originaly using a MOS server from the 3rd eye entertainment web site, but i think something was wrong with it, so i set my own pc up as a server, and i can now sign in etc, but when i got my m8 to try and connect he couldnt connect at all. i am behind a firewall, but opened the right port (1200). i got no idea why this happens now

There are heaps of tuts scattered around the place. For chats mooclick is probabley the way to go. Check out Tig's site.

ok, what ive done now is set up my thing to connect to to my fireswalls ip addres (81.7.2.173) but since that isnt the ip of my computer (192.168.7.6) it doesnt think that the firewalls ip is running the MOS server. any 1 know how i can get around this, or am i totaly unable to host a server because of my firewall?
ive gotten my m8 to try to act as the server and ive tried to connect to his computer, but connection just times out...
this is really anoying, oh and thanks for the tiger works links, but the only problems im now having are to do with connecting to a server
