i have updated Pacmanworlds with some small fixes, (none so much as to warrant another download if you have already)
Fixes include:
typo's corrected saying where secret areas were.
it now will start in windowed mode, if selected in options
altered 1 lava world, where water wouldnt go away
removed stumpman, and his smart comments
altered start credit screens
now for the bad news. IF you havent already downloaded this, you wont be able to for a short time. There were some nasty german sites in particular, that linked to pulsecodes server, and over last weeked, 160 GB of bandwidth accumualed from it. cyberquest thought they were being hacked, and have removed the file, and closed pulsecodes site temporarily.
Unfortunately, the game has scared off anyone form wanting
to host it, due to bandwith "rapage".
Luckily for US, cyberquest (great company, and great bunch of guys) , have [not] decide to bill us (800 pounds), because they too liked the game , and they've never seen a game basically bring their servers to thier knees.
kinda flattering, and we can all have a laugh about it now, seeing that we are not going bankrupt. but until we find (several) homes, the game is now unavailable online.
You will have to PAY for PC Utilities Magazine issue#39, to get the freeware version of this game.
(yes -snippets) the game will be remade ground up, with progress save, slightly different format, editor, and possibly online play.

Yay! But why remove Stumpman? You fools!
Good to hear that your game was popular, not so good that you can't download it yet. If I had my own hosting, I'd host it for you.

stump was in there as a joke. only 1 person would actually know whats going on.
the new editor is around 80-85% complete. fully loads, saves, multiple tile sets.
