what is this "shadowcaster" part doing in my user admin?
if i'm not admin, what is the purpose of that part in my useradmin screen? everything that is forbidden to me, so i don't get the purpose of that. all useful in that part is view dc points. Edited by the Author.

I'd imagine that it's easier as far as the site code is concerned if everything is displayed rather than taking off bits according to your level of access.

That is partially the case... the other thing is it serves as a reminder to people that I still have my handy "delete all" button available to use quicker than you can put on some bloody big trosers.

An old account of mine, recently cleared out. It's a blast to the past, the age was marked as 14 when I found it. If you know where to look, you can track me. Au revoir.

Yes, once you enter the UserID it comes up with the login name and display name for that user and asks you to confirm

"Delete all" just refers to an individual user - not the entire community! That's the hidden "Never press this button" option.

The Reset Password button does just that Though as Shen says you should use the sendpass.asp script first. The Reset script is only used if the email address was specified incorrectly during the sign-up.
