...no is there another way? i mean, look at southpark mario. in main menu you can change game/help/quit with arrows.... sp mario is made in tgf. so wtf?
I don't know what's causing this, but does the action still happen when you press the down arrow, even though it just says "" ?
...and i assume it you updated to 1.06 ...
thx, radix, i'll try that. by the way, where is that "when player 1 presses a button"? i can't find that event in players object. eviscerator, yep it works but tgf doesn't see the difference between all arrow keys. i found a solution! maybe little stupid, but i noticed that in my old games made on my old computer properly got "upon pressing down arrow". and if i try to copy event line from old game to this new, it works! i have events for left arrow & right arrow, but plleeeaassseee can someone make a game in tgf with only two events: upon pressing up arrow and down arrow, so i can copy those events in my game. thx everybody!
"Player 1 presses button" is in the Players object - either of the first two options. The thing is, I've used them so much that I've completely forgotten what the first one is called. The second one is "repeat while joystick pressed" - then select either a direction, button, or both.
that was conflict with office xp. i installed it and then i noticed that tgf doesn't recognize arrows. and once some "office xp can't install this feauture without inst cd, insert it u ass" screen popuped. i inserted office xp cd and it did i dont know what and tgf started recognizing tgf. let's call it "rocker's simptom"
