I've seen a bunch of posts going along the lines of "need music for your game ?". I myself am a musician too and i'll happily create music for anyone if they ask, but i was thinking that maybe DC should have a list where people put themselves if they are willing to make music for people ? Maybe do it so people can rate the different artists, and the artists can define a couple of genres and formats they work in etc. etc. ?

hmmm... it's an intersting idea, but i really wonder how effective it'd be. e.g. if one artist posted an offer to help, he could well be flooded with 100s of requests, and wouldn't conceivably be able to handle all of them.
like i say, nice idea, and something we could implement in the future, but i very much doubt that it would be effective enough to be worth coding and implementing. still, i'll suggest it to SC when he's on MSN, see what he says.

Then you just click on one of them and send him an invite message. that's the point pete! and you can set up in your user profile what are your possibilities, like making midis, coding, making graphics, voice acting...
I doubt there'd be any significant coding changes to this site without recoding the entire thing from scratch. Heh, maybe soon we could have a new look DC
If it did happen, maybe some sort of system should be devised so that if someone wants to 'use' someones services, he/she/it must first put up their own service. That way there isn't a huge influx of noobs sending a million 'invites' to every coder and graphics artist to basically do their game for them.
