Well, for starters you could check some of my games (except the monster game). Ghaslevania has somewhat scary music in it... also check out this thread: http://www.create-games.com/forum_post.asp?id=52717
Hmm.. Have you played "avp", or "aliens infestation" for example.. Music should have low tempo, and some scary instruments as violin for example, and maybe composed piano play, and bass offcourse.. Send me first something like that, and ill tell you what should be fixed =]..
well, i played avp a long time ago and i don't remember the music in it, but i remember the mood of the game and that's quite enough...meanwhile, check out my game Ghastlevania, it might be the music in there you need...i also have something lying on my harddrive that i could send you.
