I've tried resizing/cropping my avatar many times and yet it's still distorted in places when I set it as my avatar. Is there a way to fix this?

your avatar looks fine.
but you need to know the size of the avatar window and change your picture to that
i cant remember myself lets see.
i just took a snapshot of the page and the size is
55 pixels across and 59 down

That's such a weird size... you'd think it would be something like 64x64.

i've downloaded one of the default avatars and its size was 60x56

Huh? Just right click an avatar and select properties, you'll see the exact size there.

Haha, The site is called The Daily Click, so you'd expect everyone to know how to click both left and right. 
EDIT: Oh and thanks to Daniel (who sent me a perfect fixed image) my avatar is no longer distorted  Yeay!
