Damn you, Pete Natress, for offering that MMF 1.5 as a reward. I've gone through some of the biggest headaches of my life working on my winter sports game. BTW, isn't there somewhere you can post all the rules and conditions of the contest where we can see it clearly?
Right now... I was just wondering, who's entering the contest and how good is your submission? I don't wanna enter if I don't stand a chance at winning. My game's been a real pain ever since the first day I worked on it. All those qualifiers and custom animations and getting the snowball to fall realistically.
Right now, I'm working on a little 'snowball throwing' game where both teams build their own forts out of wood and just plain try to hit each other with snowballs. Of course, there's the little deal of getting into the enemy's fort or shooting over it...
It allows custom teams and a nice state-of-the-art platform engine where the walls actually collapse down instead of float around when something hits it. Of course, this engine's been the source of most of my trouble (besides the experience engine, graphics, and the annoying annoucer guy every sport has).

Im makin a fairly average santa snowboarding game with a decent custom animation engine and some nice physics.
Not much more to it though.

jon, that sounds worrying to me. you obviously have some issues. i find that 2 Tesco Quality tissues per wank contains all my liquids, and run off is rare at best.

I am thinking of entering. The only problem is that I'll have to convert my game into some kind of sport. All I can say about it right now is that it will be at least as sweet as my entry from last year, and it will be bigger.

one of the last part i'm working is the multiple independent highscore table (i used c to do the table - i'm gonna use it with mmf) you can't make a multiple independent highscore table in one games (unless with a sub-app but when you make a stand alone it always ask for kchisc.cox - and you can't put any comment)
also there's this great solid graphics that i had managed to fit all under 1.4 mb
okay that's enough - i'm still just new to dc and this is my first entry - i still do not now what will become of me

oh and just try to use recycled paper to wipe your jism

done that - been to that - still doesn't work (i think my registry file was messed up when i got lazy and just coppied mmf to my other harddisk and just manually altering the reg file - need to reinstall MMF)
- besides my program will have a highscore comment- i'll make an mmf/c hybrid program

i'm a hardcore C C++ C# VC++ JAVA PERL coder and i understand VERY well how Windows work and more or less what directories MMF has and what it is for -so please don't call me mongo - i'm really sensitive and it makes me very much tramped - i am even developing my own OS for crying out loud - Want a copy?
