Aww... Don't give up, I'm sure there is someone else out there for you. If you think your looks has something to do with it, change it. And don't give me that "It's my face" bullshit because you can do plenty of other stuff to make up for it (Such as hair, clothing, personality, sports[I suggest you take up martial arts], and whatever the hell else you can think of.) I think the question you should be asking is, "why are YOU unpopular with chicks?" Basically girls are a learnt art. You need to speak thier language, just as you have learnt the language of MMF, or TGF, or whatever the hell you design games with. You need to understand that girls are the ones who are at risk of falling pregnant, so by natural instinct, they wont be with anyone they don't think will stick around that long. You gotta convince them that in a year down the track, you'll still be there for them. You gotta convince her that you have no future plans to leave her.
It doesn't matter what you do, it's how much cash you make doing it. Chicks want a man who can provide for thier baby. (They may even be planing to never ever ever be a mother, but the instinct to get a good provider is still there.)
Oh, one more thing. You know that bullshit about "it's the thought that counts" you hear every Christmas? It's actually true, when it comes to chicks. It's not how big the gift is, it's how much it kills you to get it for her. The longer it takes you to prepare the gift, the more points you score. It kinda says, "I can't possibly be cheating on you, because there is no way in hell I'd have the energy to do this twice."

Meh, it's just part of growing up. I can talk to any girl, attractive, not so attractive, boarding on being a male, without any real trouble. You just have to be a good conversationalist in general, not have some kind of special skills.
Being the fine wordsmith I am, I can often strike a conversation with pretty much any girl. Of course, my speech is often riddled with humour, so that's how I keep them interested.
I mean why should talking to a girl be any different than talking to a guy?...
...sure, you shouldn't make sexist remarks and talk about stupid things that they are obviously uninterested in, but it's not hard. It takes a while to get truely good at it, the first time's always the hardest.
