Ahh... My exams are over, and there's nothing to do, but clicking and... DAMN! There is still one essay to write about 'What the other europeans think about finnish people?'? There was a source article, but I thought that the essay would be better if I used opinion of you too. So, what do you think about finns?
Here is some questions:
What do you think that finns are as persons?
How much you know about finnland as country?
How many finnish enterprises do you know and what are they doing?
What do you know about lappland?
Etc.

eek, tough essay. i know next to nothing about finland... apart from they managed to defend a russian invasion in world war 2. and is nokia finnish? if so it's the only finnish company i know.
1. I think you are nice . Just to fanatic about hockey (I also have heard you haven't got the best hockey team) anyway, I am not really that interested in watching sport.
2. a)Your position in the world.
b)Litle about your language background
c)Some of your wars you started and joined
d)That you invented the sauna, but the swedes "copywrighted" it, or whatever
e)That santa is supposed to live there
f)I also have heard you announce the Worldchampionship in sauna bathing
g)You have euros, but before that marks
I live in Tornedalen, I think I am supposed to know alot about you
3. Nokia and Tamperen (yes, a shop in Tornio, not the town) thats all I can think of right now.
4. They are populated by, what is it in english? Samer, and lives of raising reindeer.

You should also write what you know about Tornedalen (a small litle corner somewhere in sweden)

Everything that i know about Finland...
This is a hard one...
a) They are just GREAT persons!! They like motorsports VERY much!
b) Finland separated from Russia after ww1, it had a civil war,
they attacked to Soviets, and took back some land in Petsamo,
they defended their land from soviets invasion, (btw. this is 60th anniversary when Finland defeated Soviets large airbombers (ībout 1000 bombers attacked to Helsinki, and thay managed to destroy ībout 20 buildings )
they invented many things as modern locks, saunas (finland has itīs copyright), the machineguns that
Nato forces once used, they invented modern cellphones, they are on the top developers of global Fusion
energy source developement, they have good education, they have small size of unemployment, they invented the
classic gangster weapon SuomiKP, they created the Max Paynes.
c) Nokia(worlds top cellphone producer), KONE (worlds top elevator builder),
Iittala (worlds top glass designer thing), Arabia (same thing that the previous),
Valmet (worlds top metallurgy engiinery developement thing),
Others will come after i have sleaped.
d) Nothing. (Exept that itīs primaryly tundra and there are reindeers and amazing sightseeing.)
(and that the Juhannus looks amazing in there (The land of midnight sun))
I know practically nothing about Finland, cept that the Finnish make good games.

jonNickArt: Yes, we are little fanatic about hockey. (Lol, 1995 Swedes were composed song named "Den glider in" (It slides in) because the world championship final match was Sweden vs. Finland but when finland won. And now we sing it at every ice hockey match.)

I also know (or think) you have just one genus in your grammatic: Hend, or something like that.
And not all reindeers, silly . Somehow some of them have escaped here to Norrbotten.
I don't know any Finns, or much about the country in general...maybe cause I live basically over the other side of the world ...but yeah, I have nothing against them I have no reason to. Hooray for Finns I say. If i'm ever in that part of the world, I may even stop by.
