The alt key is windows-controlled so your game will still have to pause when someone presses it.

That's all very well; but what bit doesn't work? The alt object just looks for when the game is paused, so you'll have to press the alt key twice to get any effect.
Pretty minimalistic, but it's the best you're going to get.

The alt key always returns true for some odd reason. Nomatter how much I change the frequency, and whether I'm actually pressing alt or not.
