Due to driving licenses, university applications, etc, etc... I haven't been able to see the DC for a few weeks. And hoping for a whole slew of new articles, I went to see the Articles page.

All I found was one new article. I mean c'mon guys... share your knowledge and skill over the years. With SC's new article rating system, you'll even get some fame along with it. I've written more than 15 articles to the DC so far, though some were just revised and refined versions of old ones. Heck, I wrote new, better versions of some of my old articles. If you don't like my articles, I could simply edit them or just delete an old version of an article I overlooked.

And I've written parts for about 10 more which I haven't uploaded because I couldn't be bothered to finish them or because there are just "too many out there". See, even Muz doesn't post crap ALL the time. Heck, I've even got two very detailed articles on special effects and using Photoshop (for the kids who somehow afforded Photoshop without knowing what it does ). But they're not finished because of personal loss of interest in screenshots, animation, stupid jokes, etc.

Hmm... sorry, seems that Clubsoft did the article rating system. All hail Clubsoft for providing so much to the DC and being so humble about it...

I think it's allowed, just as long as it doesn't become a trend or anything (ppl resending articles every time it gets knocked off the top 10). But maybe you should improve a little on it, check for spelling errors, factual errors, etc.

Hmm, if everyone did that then we'd have rather a lot of "new" articles all of a sudden... post them again if you like, but as CoolioKlick said, try and refine them a bit as well if possible so they're legitimately "updated".

I haven't been on TDC for a while so I dunno if this has been mentioned, but if you click someones name on articles it takes you to a completely different person

Seems to be like a descending memberlist rather than the actual user.

You know what happened to my article?

It got deleted.

You know why?

Shadowcaster deleted my account.

He also deleted all of my games.

Podunkian:
You mean you don't keep put articles/games elsewhere? Nice avatar, BTW.

Either way, WHY ISN'T ANYONE WRITING ANY ARTICLES? I mean, there's the new article system. You can get plenty of honor and glory (or shame for a really, really bad one). I'd write one, but I'm a bit busy at the moment.
