p...p...ppookemon....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, personally, i think a 15 year old kid(such as me) that still likes pokemon, really needs to find something else to do with his/her time. i HATE pokemon, dont know why, dont know how, i just do.
help!, i've fallen and i cant ge....hey, nice carpet!
I like shooting the over sized Pikachu I won at the fair with my assortment of guns. Hes covered in paint, pellets, and has a couple of .45 holes in him.
the game and the first series of pokemon was good. But then they took it too far. Now there's....hmmm...um..1000 different pokemon? It's not as good as it used to be.
It is disputed on how many pokemon there are... there are 365 real pokemon, and 1 glich pokemon...
that glich is called MISSINGNO it has the # 000 and gliches the save... it is available in red and blue without a game shark... it gives you tons of whatever item is in your sixth slot in your backpack, master balls galore... DC MAIL me for info: http://create-gamescom.winstemp.com/newmail.asp?id=14852
Actually, MISSINGNO kinda looks like a bunch of dots forming an evil boot.
MISSINGNO controls all! I caught it once and it made one of my pokemon look like a birdkeeper. I think it also made my character on the game turn into a Chansey!
It may be funny to see what happens if I go everywhere with a MISSINGNO, but I'd rather not waste my time.
"Post does not exist" What?! Sorry, couln't edit my post.
Sometimes, I made up imaginary pokemon. One time I made up a "rare" pokemon named Bonusin(some motorcycle pokemon composed of parts from Casino Night Zone on Sonic the Hedghog 2). I made up a way to get him ,too: On the street between Pallet town and the 2nd town, go past the fence to the right. Then you'll have to chase Bonusin on your bike to battle it.
I got over the fence using a funky gameshark code I found(I used some item called "Ash" which let me go through walls) when I started going left though, the gaem just froze. I wonder why I actually believed myself that secret pokemon existed beyond the fences.
yes for some reason you can't edit posts in this thread... but that conspiracy thing is all wrong... THERE IS NO MAGIC IN POKEMON! i would copy and paste it millions of times were it not for the spam rules... second of all, pokemon don't die in battle, they just faint... if they would just leave pokemon alone and not compain, no one would have problems with it! I LOVE POKEMON!
I liked the first game
infact i got a copy of pokemon red last year dirt cheap so i could play it again on my gameboy
i couldnt help but experience pokemon because some of my younger friends were crazy over pokemon when i first came out
and in europe that was 1999 if i remember
so i like the first set of games red/blue
everything since seems to be a cash in really even the cartoon.
Pokemon's much like your typical anime show - good concept, but it's being overused and overexploited by greedy companies. No further comments.
BTW, that conspiracy theory thing that WCB posted was very convincing indeed. Especially the part about the motto and the cock fighting thing .

I MADE A PIKACHU CURSOR! download it here:
http://www.freewebs.com/goobco/pikacur.exe
it installs and applies the cursor... if you want to replace your old cursors you have to do it your self...
Show me the power child,
I'd like to say,
That I'm down on my knees today,
Gives me the butterflies,
Gives me away,
'Til I'm up on my feet again,
I'm feeling outshined.
"Children are encouraged to train cute little animals to bite and scratch their friends' cute little animals." hahaha its so true! Pokemon was a great concept, and the dude who made it, Shigeru Miyamoto, got the idea by watching people fish
I agree 1st Series was the best, and i have Pokemon Sapphire on my GbaSP
Advance wars is good too
Gah!

lol! i used to play pokemon on my gameboy years ago. this post has bought it all back, quite saddening really that i still remember all the names. i got all the collection on pokemon red, if i recall (ah yes it was called a pokedex wasn't it!). christ it's all flooding back. hurrah pokemon.
I play Pokemon on the Gameboy. Have a copy of just about all of the original games (not the card game or pinball or any of that other stuff). I'll catch the show on TV from time to time and watch it through just because it's interesting to see how it would be like within a game-type world. I think the show is way out of whack, though, because they put up little level one untrained pokemon up against tournament end level pokemon and some how beat them or otherwise have a winning edge.
But I like to play the game because I can put my pokemon against my brother's pokemon and have a good match. I like competitive player versus player stuff.
I've always enjoyed the game but the cartoon (along with just about every other 'anime' show) lost it's appeal to me when I was about 13.

Pokemon is cool when you have a friend playing it with you, but otherwise its so boring to play it alone...why? And do you guys know, that when you play NES you cant get boring? And its fun forever! I got GBA and im playing Sapphire with it. Its cool, but my eyes got rolling when i watch that tiny screen in my hands. Why?

SuperTomppa palaa takaisin
Info: Well, a little shooter...
When its done: Summer
Percentage complete: 98%
Don't like the tiny Gameboy screens? Here's a simple solution, and a great way to extend your game library.
If you have a Gamecube, buy the Gameboy attachment. Now you can play your gameboy games on a big screen with a normal controller! Yay! And it'll only cost you about... um... $50? O.o

take the following letters and re-arrange them to create a cheap alternitive to chamzel's suggestion:
The Gameboy were pretty good till I beat the living shit out of them with all my level 90+ Pokemon. Gawd it was addictive, but I hate all the other crap. It's stupid. Hmmm it's been a couple years since I played those Gameboy games...
A problem with emulators is... You can't always find every game you want on the internet to download. And you can't really get emulated most of the latest games that aren't catridge anymore.
Chamzel, hows that a problem? Its exactly the same as going into a shop to buy a game, only to find it doesnt have any in stock
Anyway, I got Pokemon Red too long ago. The day it came out, I think. I beat it a while later, and enjoyed myself.
Then, back in October (2003) I picked up Pokemon Ruby for GBA . I was on holiday, and a bit bored, so I got it, thinking it would last me the holiday. But the game sucked!
I still remember about four years ago Pokemon Trading Cards were THE hype in our class. *shudder* If you didn't have trading cards you were not part of the society I still hate that kind of crap.
The only nice part of Pokemon is the game.
My brain just fried. Can't think of any other debatable topics to strike back with. Time to watch more TV!

Pokemon.. Good old memories... Games are (were) good. The first cartoon was good too, but when you get used to plot, it is crap.
General plot:
-Ash, Misty and Brock are walking.
-They see a pokemon.
-The Pokemon belongs to someone other.
-They meet pokemon's owner and become friends.
-Team rocket attacks and captures their pokemon.
-Ash, Misty, Brock and their new friend search Team Rocket.
-Battle.
-At last their new friend's pokemon (and pikachu) wins Team Rocket.
-"Team Rocket blast of agaaaaaaaaiiiiiiinnnn......."
-All is good again, and Ash, Misty and Brock continue their journey. (In the sunset.)
Of course some episodes doesn't be like that and that makes them (But only them) good.
I think that digimon is much better nowadays. It's more exciting.
Nice sig you got there, -Pyry-! I almost fell for it once.
The pokémon game isn't too bad, I guess... but the cartoon is crap.
It's just annoying.
How many pokémon are there now?
You know, I think there are enough. But nooo,
some random japanese dude: "We'll just make, umh, like, a 1000 more. That would be kinda cool."
Shigshy: "Yeah, but how are we supposed to come upwith that many new poke's?"
srjd: "Umh, well, we'll just make all pokemon evolve to pekemon that's sligthly bigger, and maybe have some different color, and a cannon on the top of their head..."
Shigshy: "That's sounds ok. Did you get that?"
Slave monkey: *nod*
Shigshy: "Ok, then get working, my slave monkies!"
Slave mokeys: "Gotta catch 'em all, gotta catch 'em all..."
Yup.
The content above makes absolutely no sense. But I guess you've already figured that out.
I don't really care for Pokemon anymore. I used to play it constantly, though. The thrill wore off when I realized that other than the Elite Four, there was absolutely no challenge whatsoever in the game. I pretty much quit then... Now, of course, I've mostly given up on the series, seeing as it's been milked to the point of utter dehydration by Nintendo. The latest Pokemon Colosseum seems okay, though. I like the darker turn the series is taking. Hopefully, the series will get to the point where it's actually difficult, Pokemon can die, and TEAM ROCKET NO LONGER EXISTS TO TORMENT ME! God, I hate them SO much. They're ALWAYS there, especially in the anime... Hellish demons bent on destroying my soul...
won't you look up at the skyline
at the mortar, block, and glass
and check out the reflections in my eyes?
you see they always used to be there
even when this all was grass
and I sang and danced about a high-rise
Then I'll probably try it out. I'm glad they finally ditched those stupid, annoying bastards. I guess I'll get it emulated, and if I like it, maybe I'll buy it. We'll see.

ruby is not worth buying but ok if you can finally find the rom... i got it just dc mail me about it... it is addictive until you get about 6 gym badges... and good god... digimon sucks, they are stupid holograms in some idiots computer!
I'm sorry...but they just suck. Its not really even anime' (check out CowBoy Bebop for good anime!) There evil! Its an evil, hideios corupt corperation aimed at turning children into fad-slaves! There rap has sublimitle (shoot me, I spelled that wrong) messages, and if you play it backwards, it says "Paul is Dead." And, if you reverese one of the poke' mon phrases, it turns into something anti-semitic (I'm not anti-semitic, they are!)! They're discustingly cute, and they really eat little kids! It's awwwwwwfuuuuullllll! I once used my paintball gun on a fluffy poke-mon thing I had won at some carnival place! It was fun! wooooooooo!
Fine Garbage since 2003.

It would be fun to make counter-fit poke-mon cards and sell them to little kids, telling them that the cards I made were 'rare bronze addition cards' or something like that. And I agree with Jonathan...If there is one toy out there that is satan in disguise, POKE-MON would be it.
Poke'mon creator: "We are losing viewers to that cruddy Harry Potter franchise! Quick, form into Poke-Demon! Bwahahaha!"

Actually if you'd like to see awesome anime, you need to find the stuff that they don't show on TV. And I don't necessarily refer to those that have a bunch of skin popping out and showing everywhere, if you know what I mean. You might think that Cowboy Beebop and other stuff they show on late night Cartoon Network TV is thrilling, but start getting into anime order catalogs and store websites and you'll realize how much you've been missing.
I got a Mewtwo, I stumbled upon it's cave by accident. I used the ICE bird dude to freeze the fucker so I could capture him. All my Pokemon are rare and I repeat lvl 90+
to catch mewtwo you are supposed to use the master ball given to you from the boss of sliph co... but your way using articuno works too... No i'm not offended, there have been tons of pokehaters in the world...
I didn't watch it on late night Cartoon Network. I bought the DVD boxed set. I have a good collection of cool anime (or at least there cool in my opinon ): Final Fantasy (strangest series ever; it has talking, mutant mushrooms!), Gundom (not the new SG verison) and a few others. Even though Invader Zim isn't pure anime, it's being sold under Media-Blasters, which sells major anime shows, and soon I'll be getting that. I like that type of Anime. Of corse, most of it isn't made for a younger audience. Check it out, IceKirby!
Fine Garbage since 2003.

There's actually two different kinds of Final Fantasy anime series.
One was released about 6-8 years ago and it was a four part series type deal. It was about crystals... and a crystal going into a heroine... and making her butt glow...
The other was has been coming out since I think a year or two ago. Haven't seen it yet, but I bought my brother the first volume and all my friends have been telling me it's kind of like Dragon Ball Z.
Dude, pokemon don't wear anything and they don't breed. Any pr0nographic acts by them can just be watched on TV. Same goes for the Teletubbies and Barney.

Abra is hard to get, but it also depends on which game you're playing. He'll always use his one and only attack - Teleport. But if you're playing the right Pokemon game you can also buy an Abra from the Casino.
Kadabra isn´t hard to get, once
you get abra you just train it to kadabra.
The abra can be bought from somewhere or
you can try to do a impossible thing:
try to catch it.
