I hope someone will be able to help me with a problem I have been having lately. This happens when I play games im working on, or sometimes when im playing other peoples games. All the sudden sound samples constantly loop and the game freezes, the characters in the game will only move when you press and hold down a button, and if they reach a stop you got to press and hold down another button. The sounds continually loop and if another sound plays that one will loop too and it is annoying because it happens every single time im playing a game sooner or later. This never used to happen, whats goin on, does anyone know?

Never used to happen when playing other games made in game factory either I dont think. Well that sux if there is nothing i can do =/. no more multiple samples i guess.

This still happens in MMF 1.5 and it is very annoying.
99 percent chance that the above post is 100 percent correct.

I've never even heard of this problem and I've used a lot of samples in some games. The only similar thing is when I've had logic errors (in which case do what Circy said).
If you can replicate it, post a bug at http://www.clickteam.com/bugbox/bug.php3?type=14

I just switched multiple samples off and I dont have it happen. I have not trying to reinstall tgf, but it was happening before I ever installed tgf on any other games I played. Problem has happened on many different games such as astro dude. I did have quite a lot of samples going tho, a sound for one object every time it bounced and there would be 4 of the objects bouncing around so there was that + jumping sound + landing sound + 2 other enemy sounds that played when you jumped on them + a sound for when you get an item. The problem would happen though regardless if there was 1 sample playing or 8 samples playing. I think its a conflict between tgf and xp because my old computer never had a problem with tgf like this with windows 98. Also Cnc was fine on my old computer but when I put it on my new computer I got that animation speed lock on all the active objects. Didnt matter where I moved the guage it would stay at 100.

You're probably right about it being an XP thing. A while ago I made a beta demo, and due to the number of shots/things in it, it would try to play about 80-200 samples/second.
Had to be 4ms samples or you get loads of phizzing.

@xXAaronXx: What is the size of your level (640x480, ect), because when I used Gfactory, I made really big levels, and I experienced the same problems you are having.
@Mr Coffe: That never happens to me, and I have MMF 1.0 and 1.2.
Fine Garbage since 2003.
