I just bought a cheap-o Logitech Precision Gamepad to use with all of my favorite indie games.
Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to properly configure the damn thing.
Do you have to use the Logitech profile-creation utility to use their gamepads with click games?
To any other Logitech owners out there, thanks in advance!

profile creation? you mean like where you assign a key to a button on a game pad? the sidewinder game pad does that
if its the same as the sidewinder, you don't want any profile assigned, just have it set to game pad, joystick
Mr Icekirby says so!

I've got the Logitech Wingman Cordless Gamepad w/ Force Feedback. It works perfectly with games that have gamepad support. However, if the game only has keyboard support, I have to use the Profiles Manager. I wasn't able to get it to work right, unfortunately. Try visiting the Logitech website and see if they have some sort of support forum. Edited by the Author.

half of the time the question is
'does the game support gamepads?'
you can change the control options by pressing ctrl and a function key or is it Alt and a function key?
sorry i forgot.
but to configure it you need to go to control panel and game controllers. i dunno about the rest.
