I got pissed off at Kazaa yesterday, and sumbled accross eMule for P2P. All I can say is... WOW... There are more files being shared than Kazaa, it isn't as buggy, and there is NO spyware or adware. It is all open source too, it is amazing!
But of course, only use it for backing up songs, games, porno, ect. Stealing is bad, hurts the starving artists, blah blah blah.

No, I actually bought mine, thats why i'm so pissed that some functions don't work anymore.

Anne-Marie: No, they have to share one.

eMule is an elite piece of software, especially if you have a High ID. Lots of people complain about its slow speed but it's files are always reliable.
Thats because the speeds are ridiculious. most songs it went at 0.2kb per second. i think my record was 2.0kb. i ended up deleting it because of its terribly speeds, i guess if you have ADSL itd be good but for my 56k its terrible.
Everything is terrible with 56k, when you get cable or DSL, the world seems brighter, colors are more vibrant, food tastes better, and women are prettier.
My files on eMule go so fast i can't beleive it, and it doesn't come out all garbled like Kazaa.

The government gets sued when a pirate is proved in canada. And it goes to our taxes, luckily 10,000 $ isn't that much when it's spread between all of us.

overnet is the best; it doesn't rely on servers, just raw p2p connections. i've tried eMule and it is better than eDonkey (which it's a hack of anyway) but overnet tops the lot.
