Seeing the rather... not so good articles on the DC lately, I'm inspired to write one myself. But since I've got so little time these days, I guess I can't write all of them and put them in my Click FAQ or something. So, I'm gonna finish one of those uber-articles I've started... but on which topic?
I've thought of working on a basic "Photoshop for sprites & backgrounds", special effects, a sequel to that storyline article, a far better recruitment article, a short "Always and timer events" article, and maybe a remake of that "making your games smaller" article.
Or I was thinking of teaching on how to do programming languages in MMF, but I haven't really figured that out :/.

keep sharpening that wit, dustin, you may need it someday!
Oh, cool, a topic about articles turns into a flame war between Rustin and Mattress. This brings up a quote;
"Flame wars are like the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded."
That out of the way, i'd think an article on mood establishment (e.g. music, use of colors) would be quite l33t, since as fasr as I know we don't have one. But if we do, then an article on sprite making ('MsPaint and why it r00lz j00') would be nice too, though I was gonna make that article and earn much-needed DC points.
Do you mean Dustin?
As for the article you should write... maybe do something on special effects, such as blurs and fake lighting and things like that.
What the fuck, you have to be pretty single minded to be proud that maybe one person thinks your at least one single bit funny. Were they drunk? Were they just trying to be nice Pete?
isn't that your excuse for everything else as well? :/

No, and why does there have to be someone who asks a stupid question in EVERY TOPIC? I'm ashamed of you Clubby, I have a good mind to tell everyone about your 3GB of 'special interests' now

3GB of 'special interests'?

Too young to understand? Something tells me I have advertised my age a bit too much.
I'm in the need of special effects (need like 200 of them), so you should make that article, IMO. 'A far better recruitment article' would also be good, some people are having trouble getting people to join their teams...
Not sure if it's been made, but an article on making a online multiplayer game like Moon Minions or Smiley House would be awesome. The community needs more games like these.

LOL. Seems that everything article-related I do ends up with JD making some crude comment and Pete flaming him back for it...

> I don't know how you got the idea that there weren't any... there's dozens out there, but almost all of them are bad.
But it gives me an idea... maybe I should make one about those little details in games... which ones matter and which are just a waste of time. Coz it seems to me that a lot of the 'pro' groups like BES do a LOT of little details that hardly make a difference, though some fairly unknown klikers like the great Gafy uses details to good extent.
Though it seems that I should get back to work on that special effects article. 'Twas supposed to be an article-documentary thingy guest-starring a character I had for an old team project, but I never got around to finishing it...
