Does anyone know of a web host with good bandwith and reasonable space that's either cheap or free? I have a game release coming up and I know the game will be downloaded much more than a basic geocities or angelfire can handle. Any ideas?

www.streamlinenet.co.uk are bloody gods. £100 (~$150) for 2 year hosting, unlimited everything (bandwidth/webspace/subdomains/email addresses blah blah).
well they say that bandwidth is unlimited until it starts slowing down other peoples hosting accounts, but yesterday TOR scooped 1.5gb worth of downloads and they havent complained yet!
www.powweb.com are good too. 5gb/day bandwidth. but the above is quite possbly the best hosting package ever.
and also, if you want free, sitesled is ok, 100 mb of space and 1GB/Day but that might not be enough, it just depends on how many people know of the game. So choose whichever will work for you.

not so joe, they havnt added the VAT on top, and for £15 extra you get a snazzy real-time stats service which is too cool for school. its costing me about £100ish with everything totalled up.
im subhosting a few guys like Smeby but its for exclusive individuals
