aye, I know what it's like too (leaky brain fluid. ick) and I know how hard it can be to keep your patience with people who don't take you seriously. I'd wish you good luck but I don't really believe in luck - I'm sure you'll be fine though, I wouldn't put my life in the hands of anyone else but a surgeon :B

I dont know but ive done some pretty stupid things .
The most scary one was when i was rebuilding one of my (push)bikes. I had to get to my relatives about 3 miles away (all downhill), as that was where i took the brakes, gears and chain off. "Piece of piss" i thought, i'll ride it down there, and use my feet to stop (not realising i was wearing leather soled shoes). As soon as the ba... thing started moving i could'nt stop it for love nor money (by either putting my foot on the front wheel or onfloor).
I was overtaking cars, jumping crossings doing at least 50, and cornering like Carl Fogerty, usig my foot/leg/knee to stop me going over (seriously!). My dad was following in the car and i bet him by a few mins! , and i didnt start until he started . I was very lucky that day .
I've never had trouble from you, but if I see some aggressive comments I'll consider them justified. Hope all goes well with your operation, man. Don't let it drag you down.
its a bit fuckin sad when people take the piss out of such a serious and personal topic.
ive never had an op but my brother got impailed on a fence once which was quite bloody. you could see the fatty bits in the wound too. alright im gonna pass out now...
