It's been a while since my last news post... I've been rather distracted by work, the forum drama, and something that might be approaching a real life in between. But I do have time to look through the submissions list occasionally.
First of all, here's the sequel to a quite incredibly original game (I think that's the term, anyway) in last year's Christmas competition - it's Barfer Sickmess 2, a side-scrolling shooter by Zapper. And he sounds quite excited about it.

BARFER SICKMESS 2 is a Christmas side-scrolling Shooter, that allows 1-4 players to team up offline or online! It's Xmas Eve, but disaster is about to strike! Up high, in the sky, a sneaky silhouette is creating chaos, with only one thing in mind... to ruin Christmas! Will the Claus Family be able to save Xmas?! There's only one way to find out!

The second game is Elf Elfonsinio, the first submission to the site by McO. There's not a chance he's new to MMF, though - the presentation is very polished. It's a bit difficult to classify - about the nearest I can get is a golf-like puzzle game. Download it and see for yourself.

Elf Elfonsinio is called in to a Claus Clausie's office. He have done a strange thing - craved toothpicks from a Clausie's sledges. For a punishment he have to help Clausie in dressing a christmas tree. You have to hanging in assigned point a christmass-tree decorations. You can chose between seven types of it. Every good hang is scored (if bubble flys longer then the score is higher) and it rising an extra glass ball counter.

Finally - and really, don't overlook this because it's last - we have Mutant Murder Mystical Ninja, a first person shooter demo by thewreck. Yes, really - first person shooter. It uses the OpenGL object along with some clever programming to get a 3D engine of around the ability of, say, Rise of the Triad and it's well worth downloading to see MMF doing something new.
Comments from the Author: Its just a simple fps demo of what i did with the opengl object, perhaps to inspire, perhaps to see if i could, not sure. Anyway, i give you the game, and the source! So do what you want with it, but do not forget to have fun!
