I've been going back with a new eye and tweaking some long-standing things for H2 lately. This latest one was to make the "old favorite" Pyro Mace Iac weapon look a little better. Now you can't really tell from this screenshot but the burn effect is kind of cool.
Fire is an important part of H2. Aside from the fire you get from swinging this mace around, you'll also eventually have the ability to breathe fireballs (in exchange for some propagne power, or PP which is the purple bar on the screenshot). Fire melts objects and activates puzzles, as well as a lot of ice and plant types of enemies take more damage from fire-based attacks.
Breathing a fireball while equipped with the Pyro Mace Iac increases the damage by about a factor of 4 too, which is nothing to sneeze at.
Lastly, you'll be able to get "Hasslevania Black Steel plating-(tm)" for your iron armor which negates all enemy fire damage. This is hard to obtain because that's a great ability to have for this one.
