Zombie hunt 2 is an Exploration Platformer, (like Zan-Zan). I abandoned this game almost immediately after starting it (i don't really like making sequels). However, Ive decide to work on it again. This game is going to be very different from the first one. In my first zombie hunt game, i was tied to the rules of the 20 event competition and kind of let them shape the game. Not anymore, zombies will no longer dumbly move back and forth like robots, instead, there will be different kinds of zombies, each of them behaving their own way.
I think I promised this game in December, which it now is. Had I been working on it the whole time, it would be released now probably. Honestly, aside from stealing my own code to make other games, i haven't touched this since early October.
Reason it's abandoned:
1. Lack of interest
2. I had some big ideas and whole levels planned out on paper only to get stuck with weird bugs that go from interesting to frustrating to depressing.
3. Zombies are stupid
I'm discovering more and more how awesome the ADD and Subtract effects are, especially when combined with circle gradients.
This flamethrower gun will be available in some of the levels and can be used against enemies. Its primary purpose is not as a weapon however but as a way to remove blocks of ice that will be in your way in the snow level.
Because of school/work/and laziness my progress on this game is going slowly.
This is the design for the first zombie, you can jump on his head to stun him, but if he sees you, he will chase you. I might give him the ability to jump later.
If anyone experiences poor frame rates, please tell me your computer specs.
