In the lost world of Vaelon a young man by the name of Nye will set out on an adventure to resurrect Lunos, the forgotten moon. On this planet there are 3 moons, Lunos, Chromarya, and Nithis. Each stellar body controls and aspect of the circle of life (dubbed "The Circle"). Lunos granted the power to create life. Chromarya protected the aspect of growth, while Nithis shadows the realm of death. Lunos was lost, and Chromarya damaged, in "The War" some 150 years ago. From that moment on every being in Vaelon became sterile. Man, animals, and even plants were revoked the ability to reproduce. Before The War, Vaelon was in healthy standing. Plagues like famine and lack of resources were all but unheard of. Even after The War, the planet stood strong for many years. But 150 years later, in the world that Nye lives, is a whole 'nother story...
Dark Vale is a 2D platformer that focuses on exploration and puzzle solving. While I haven't decided whether to add enemies in the game, there will be plenty of challenges for players to take on. From traps to Indiana Jones gauntlet style runs you'll be lucky to catch a breath of air.
