This is my latest platform game. I have no idea when I'll be done and there is a good chance I will never Finnish. Anyway, it's a game where you can grab weapons and destroy speakers and stuff...
OLD DESCRIPTION
Warp Kid
This is a little platform game in which you can only advance by scoring points.
Description:
This is a game about a kid who has to warp to different places and score points by collecting things and destroying stuff. I'm trying to make almost every thing destructible if at least not damageable (this includes the music which is generated from the environment via speakers). I'm also trying to avoid using any onscreen display. Instead of a health meter, you can just look at your players face, if it's bleeding, that's not good.
Features
-This game will select levels randomly so that each you play, you should get a slightly different experiences
-destructible environment
-something
What i still need to do,
1. make bad guys
2. make level editor
3. make graphics
4. ask someone to make music for me
*this game stated out as just a little test of 2d sound, but now I'm serious about making it into a game. Probably will be ready around Christmas since I'm a bit slow at making games.

I redid the combat system so now the bad guys have hp. I also gave the bad guys deaths (they fall off the screen) and have blood. Last thing I added was a better engine for the bad guys, they can't get stuck in walls even if you shove them into them, and the can fall off platforms.
I was trying to add new graphics but had lots of trouble. I'm terrible at it. So i decided to change styles for the background and just scribble. It's quick, easy, and looks kind of pretty.
*most of these are just copied from an older game i abandoned, but I'm going to make the rest of them look this way
On a side note, this game is no longer about destroying speakers, that's just a little extra feature.
The game now has two weapons, and i don't think I'll need to add any more. The sword has the benefit of attacking of allowing you to climb walls, while the gun has the benefit of range. You can only hold one weapon at a time so you have to choose.
On another note, now pretty much any non-backdrop can be destroyed by the weapons, except for those vital to the players progress. Indestructible objects can still be scarred up however.
I'm going to try to add a reversible gravity feature too.
Things left to do:
1. Make a few more bad guys
2. Attempt to make some decent graphics
3. Make a level editer
4.
