It is a shoot em up in 2.5D, 1024x768, programmed with Multimedia Fusion 2 HWA.
SCENARIO
The scenario has a very important place in the game, so in addition to traditional stage play, the player can see the protagonists evolve the game in isometric 3D sceneries (the player can also choose between English or French at the launch of the game).
Abstract:
You are Ryo, a famous smuggler well known for his exploits aboard his space fighter. Your brother, the faithful Talos doesn't bode anything well that day. The station where you needed to deliver simple barrels is empty ; there is an unbearable stench, the halls are blocked with makeshift barricades here and there...
The only survivor talks about an unprecedented catastrophe, an unsuccessful scientific experiments, a story in which hordes of terrifying creatures, after having eaten the scientists of the station, are now poised to hit the galaxy, carrying with them any form of life into nothingness...
GRAPHICS & MUSIC
The game's graphics are completely original and have received a particular attention. They are made and rendered with Blender 3d and retouched with Photoshop Elements. Similarly for the music, which is made thanks to Cubase and many free VSTs.
GAME PLAY
The game play is classic but effective, the emphasis is put on the dynamism of the game. The player must traverse 18 levels with a spaceship (6 playable ships, each one with its own characteristics, like in Wipeout) and collect a maximum of bonus of all kind throughout the levels to get the best weapon configuration possible to meet the boss (over 40 bosses and sub bosses in total).
The score has an important role, indeed at the end of each level, the player's score is based on several factors (enemies killed, number of mega bomb unused ...) and according to this score, a medal is awarded (bronze, silver or gold). At any moment the player can try to get a better medal on the level of his choice through the section "medal" from the main menu. To top it all, a global scoreboard is expected on the final version.
LICENSE & VERSION OF THE GAME
The game is intended to a shareware license (9.90 euros) sold in a dematerialized way (some publishers are already interested). The game release is scheduled for the coming months.
Meanwhile, a Pre-Release version of the game is available for download, it includes the contents of the future DEMO of the game (the first three levels).
