Project Overview  
Preview Stormwire consists of Sumo148 and W3R3W00F.

Cameo Combat will be a Klik, TDC, Random based BMUP where a bunch of characters cream a bunch of other characters with a bunch of crazy attacks. In a bunch of crazy enviroments.

There will (hopefully) be 3 game modes: Free-for-all, Co-op, and Capture the Flag.

Apparently Jon Lambert left the team because he said he wasn't doing anything to contribute to the project, so he said he doesn't deserve to be in the credits We will miss you Jon, but we'll respect your decision. You can come back on the team anytime buddy
A little rundown of what's done on my part.

I might as well inform you all of what's done as far as my spriting goes.

Graphic wise, I'm as good done with the menu. Not coding yet; I still need to code the splash screen which will appear after you type in your user name (It was the other way around, but since the splash screen is dark looking I had to make it flow. )

The actual game sprites aren't quite done yet. I have made quite abit of progress, and I'd say I'm at least 80% done with them. They would've been finished by now, but because school, loss of interest in continual spriting, plenty of distractions, and other life matters are getting in my way, that hasn't happened. Plus, (this is what's holding me back,) with some of the characters, I have very little to work with and few directions, no offense to anyone, lol Once the sprites are done, I'll think about posting a simple video of animations and stuff.

Werewoof has worked very hard to produce more attacks and revamp the title screens, so you should all congratulate him! During the past few days, we have all been hard at work on this epic project. The three main things that were completed are:

Dead Reckoning System: The system predicts the path of the other players using minimal message sending to compensate for lag, overall boosting the smooth gameplay factor

Revamped Backgrounds and New Attacks: There are all new attacks and special attacks that will blow your mind! Big thanks to werewoof for working hard (he got up early for these )

Updater: I made an updater that will compare your version of the game and check to see if there is a new one. No more checking back online. In game, it will automatically tell you if there is a new version

Hey guys it's Sumo here. While Werewoof was working on the very awesome sprites and animations, I was working on the basic online stuff. This included the online lobby, customizable games, chat room, basic online movement, etc. I just finished it today. The lobby works perfectly and is always refreshed. You will be able to see games that are being played when you join the lobby and the games will automatically be removed when they're over. Also, I've got a few pictures Although they're definitely not as exciting as Werewoof's, they basically show whats happening. Don't worry! Werewoof will be fixing up those blank backgrounds in the frames
