This games come along pretty fast. Its slowed down recently thought due to Christmas/New Years parties wth lots of very strong vodk... Cordial.
Whiplash was previously named RAMPAGE but it turns out some bastards hav already flogged that name so its Whiplash will hav 2 do. Its a 3d Snowboarding game unlike anything I've ever made. It really feels 3d with Moveable Camera and all that. I finally figured out 3d Sprite object and the snowboarder looks very nice with that. 5 Tricks plus other special moves and fully freeform 2 axis spinning makes for some sweet trick combinations (Double Backflip 720 Roastbeef Anyone?) It's now back on track after new years with everything complete. Afew Real pumpt midis have been made, intro, sound, menu, engine. All that needs finishing is the singleplayer menus n that should take afew days at the most The games also features 5 levels of detail making it run on slower computers and 5 skins for the snowboarder.
This promo movie was a dodgy little rush job so dont read the writing and the footage is blurry and of an older version but it all shows just how nice the engine looks.
Oh and the jump engines not that bad. The recorder thing kept skippin.
