It's almost christmas and time for yet another dose of politically incorrect fun from stuckboy...
***The Orphanage***
-Story-
Adam Cornwell, one of the most accomplished biochemists went missing in 2018. Now intelligence reports that he is still alive and, with his own mysterious elite malicia, has unleashed a seemingly deadly blitzkrieg upon a small, out of the way town in northen russia. Only the UK know Cornwell is still alive, and even we don't know what he is up to.
After displaying refined and deadly combat ability as a SAS commando, you have been selected for this mission. You require specialist Black Op Commando Unit training which will teach you the elite skills of firing guns, throwing grenades and taking cover.
-Features-
-4 deadly and versatile weapons.
-Much improved graphics since the first demo.
-Smart AI will take cover, and use flushing and rushing tactics.
-Music that compliments the atmosphere of the game.
-Difficulty level ranges from "Piss easy" to "Elite realistic" providing a suitable amount of challenge for each and every player.
-Detailed weapon simulation with recoil, magazine swapping, and alternate fire modes.
-Eviscero-matic; crazy new blood 'n' gore/decal engine.
-Notes-
The Orphanage is a tribute to some of the greats of First Person Shooters i.e. Half Life, Half Life 2, Far Cry and FEAR. It was originally intended as a weekend project, but it fledged into a proper little side project after that weekend was up. The game has snow in it as you can see from the screenshots, but I didn't really think that would be enough to get it into the TDC christmas compo
If you are going to flame me for liking FPS games, and tell me why I should play super mario instead, take a deep breath... there, the desire has dissapated.
