The Daily Click ::. Downloads ::. Review Review: Unknown Game 2393
How many characters?! Well here goes! This is my 1st review and I must be honest, I actually liked Candy Kid 2. Yes it has it's flaws but I tend to look at the good points of a game. The 1st thing that I tried to do was jump on one of the monsters heads. Nope : ) That didn’t work. Ahhaaah! fire! The character. Someone who you can't really model yourself on,. I mean who in there right mind is going to eat that much and not get bloated, sick or even have his own teeth! This is candy land and I suppose anything can happen . The candy kid’s animations are smooth as are all of the characters and he fires pellets of god knows what in the direction he is moving, Which can help most times but often hinders. The background graphics are fun, yes they are from the Library but who cares it's got good game play right. And the music.. Shades of Bubble bobble me thinks, The characters eyes bounce up and down kind of rhythmically to the music, weather this is intentional or not I don’t know but it’s the little things you notice when you see past the looks and find ‘The inner beauty of the game’ (Did I just say that?!). If you like Games like Marioland and Donkeykong country then you'll like this game too. I played it up to the point where I couldn't seem to jump on the ledge in the 4th level. I was really starting to get into the swing of things as well. It’s not an easy game to play for the complete novice but may be too easy for the hardened klickers amongst you. Don’t let that dissuade you from playing the game though. There are a lot of bugs in Candy Kid 2 that need to be ironed out. One that was the clincher for me was jumping. Of course when you know the ins and outs of Click-ware you become familiar on how to tackle these minor annoyances. Maybe in the sequel eh? I look forward to a Candy Kid 3 if it’s not allredy in the making. Over and out!
