After I read that this game was similar to Eternal Daughter I decided to Download it. After all, ED is one of the best games out there. But Unlike ED, this game could have used a little more polishing.

You start at a very nice little village. There are tons of details like a Sumo mini-game and the way the doors open to enter a house. Very good stuff. Then you set out into the world and play for an hour. The game is short, but at least that means you wont get lost. I finished it in less than an hour and I died at least 10-15 times. The challenge is decent, but mostly comes from your crap sword, more on that later..

The platform engine is really good. The hit-detection for your character is spot on and he has a few cool moves like jumping backwards and sliding right from the begining. It's the swordplay that could be vastly improved. The first thing you'll notice after you swing the sword for the first time is that it takes a lot of time for you swing it. Not only that but your character stops and it has a short reach. Killing enemies is very difficult. Fortunately you have a maximum of 20 shuriken. But they arent easy to come by, so it's best to save them. You also get some bombs to blast weak walls.

There are a few bosses, all pretty interesting and all different. Some might give you deja-vu.

The graphics are solid and some of them are really good, mostly the sprites, but the platforms are too blocky. Anyway, the game still looks better than 90% of the other games if not more. The music is original, but it's pretty minimalistic, a lot of people wont like it.

Overall, even if some of the most cynical gamers will not like it, I do recommend it, since it's a solid game with good plataforming controls. If you liked Eternal Daughter a lot, you'll like this one a little, so go ahead and try it.
