The Daily Click ::. Downloads ::. Review Review: PINGBALL!
Well, what can I say? I downloaded this game out of boredom. The one line description and lack of screen shots probably would have put me off otherwise. Small download, and fast Presentation: Simple, to say the least. But functional. Black background, with white. Retro, sure, but this would have been better with something to distinguish it from every other game like this. Gameplay: Not bad, but it is a little disappointing that there isn't anything more to it. Like I said, this game has nothing to make it different from any other retro pong game. It is two player, so someone like me has to control both sides. Maybe an option to play against the computer would be good. Graphics: For a retro game, still kinda disappointing. But they were functional. Sounds and Music: Well, the music is good for as long as it lasts. But it doesn't seem to change really, or loop. But it's functional, and suitable. Lastability: There is much room for improvement here. Having a 1 player option as well, or adding something... anything to make this game longer and more challenging. If there is nothing challenging to a game, people will look at it once and then leave it or delete it. To be played a lot, a game has to be special. So perhaps different levels would be good. Overall: Try to include more to this game. More midis, more levels, more options. Also perhaps improve the graphics such as the page which states who wins and the title page. The Read Me was functional. It said everything there is to say about the game: which keys to use. Final Verdict: Not too bad, but not original enough.
