Presentation: Simple but effective. The title screen has a very nice effect for the words "Streambolt" and overall, the presentation has a very "Super NES game" feel to it. Gameplay: This game is a sidescrolling shooter, similar to Megaman. There are many bosses and mini bosses to fight. Some of the boss battles seem to drag on forever. It would be very nice if the author displayed the boss's health. The game ends rather abruptly, because the author was "to lazy" (in his own words) to finish the final boss. Don't ask me why someone would go to all the trouble to make a game like this and then not even finish the final boss. The ending is also lackluster, but that is not a big deal. In my opinion, the author should really finish the final boss, as the game feels slightly unfinished. You also have a jetpack move, which is a little clunky to use. Why the author made it so you need to double tap the button to use the jetpack is beyond me. You should only have to hold down the jump button, and when the character reaches the apex of his jump, the jetpack is engaged. You also have a teleport move, a shield, and the ability to get weapon powerups. Graphics: Very good, reminds me of the Super Nes days. Sound and Music: Average, nothing amazing here. The music is not original. Lastability: It will take some less experienced gamers some time to beat although experienced gamers will finish it very quickly. After you beat it there is not much reason to play through again. Overall: Overall the game is above average with some minor flaws. Be warned though, it is a fairly hard game. I was able to beat it on my third try, but I can see how some less experienced gamers might have trouble.
