Dark One Entertainment's Review of Starboy 2 Presentation : Well, well, well. This game actually had good presentation. The creator gave a good description of the game and it's basics elements. He gave the downloaders screenshots, so that they could determine if they wanted to download it, and what it looked like. It's rare you actually see a game with good presentation. You deserve a 10 for the presentation. Gameplay : Well, I personally don't care for games with the built in movement. This game is no exception, the creator should have made a custom platform movement engine, even if it wasn't the greatest, you would get a better score than I am giving you for the movement. Also, I don't like how it switchs between the spin attack and the fireballs, that is just plain wierd, I suggest you fix that or something. If it's suppose to do that you should have told the public. I give gameplay a 3, because atleast I can move and attack. Graphics : Three worlds, almost all ripped! Dude! Make your own graphics, even if they suck. People prefer your own custom made graphics, I like games with custom made graphcis, even if they are fairly poor, but their always room for improvement you know. Practice makes perfect. I'll give you 1 because I'm not sure if the star itself is ripped but if it is this should be 0! Sound and Music : Their are absolutely no sound effects. Come on! When you fire you should make a noise, when your hit you should make a noise, when you sit something it should make a noise! Get my picture? The Music? Well it's from the lib but atleast their is music, but next time look for other midis, mp3s, or whatever instead of using tgf and mmf music ok? I give you a 0 for sound and 6 for music, so that's a 3 for this section. Lastability : Three words : It gets boring! You'll be lucky, and the creator will be lucky, if you actually go through the game once! I highly doubt you'll make it too the end, I made it too the end...and it was the worst 20 minutes I spent, it's too repetive. I give it a 4 though for effort. Overall : Well I know it's an old game. I give it a 4 for overall. The presentation really saved you, probably the best thing about the game. Oh ya, next time touch up oldy games you are going to release. - Damon, Dark One Entertainment
