OVERVIEW A simple little puzzle game in which you control a spaceman (an Astro Man, if you will) as he navigates his way through myriad levels of ascending difficulty. GRAPHICS The graphics aren't GREAT, but they're crisp and slick, and you they meet the requirements of the game. Animations are limited but well done. All the visuals have a marvelous retro feel. I liked the background, too, it was cool but unintrusive. GAMEPLAY Lots of fun! Neither too hard nor too easy, Astro Man will keep you occupied for a long time. The simple graphics and gameplay leave room for pure entertainment. There's really no complaints in this section. SOUND As mentioned in the description, the music is on CD, so it's really whatever you want it to be. I found the sound effects to be a little bit loud, and as there are very few of them, they seemed very choppy. It might have worked better to leave them out entirely- nothing would be lost. OTHER STUFF The menu system was very cool for this game, and the background images are nice. All in all, well presented. Another great feature is the level editor, which enables unlimited replay value. FINAL WORD I give this great game 9 spacesuits out of 10. A must-have for any arcade/puzzle fan.
