The Daily Click ::. Downloads ::. Review Review: Ashley Evens, the Huntress of the Monsters
I was bored because I changed schools to one that was less demanding, so I didn't fail any subjects and I don't have to go to school during the holidays. That's because I'm free all day, and I'm bored. So I thought that it would be a good idea to review a game. Presentation The presentation was very good! It had an animation where the letters were appearing until they showed you the complete title, and it had a text that showed you the keys you needed to press to go to the instructions, the story and to start the game or quit the game. One point to improve is that the letters looked a little bit pixelated, and it would be better if the letters looked smoother, but that gave it a more retro touch. But it is still very good. (*g)Gameplay(*g) The gameplay was good too. You control Ashley, a girl who has to kill the monsters, and for that, she shoots a white thing, I'm not sure what is it. It would be better if it had a saving system though, but the game was short so it wasn't really necessary. There were some very difficult levels, like the level with the skeleton, but I could pass them with some effort. (*g)Graphics(*g) The graphics were very nice! They had a retro style, and were very well done. Good job on that. (*g)Sounds and music(*g) The sound effects were good too, and the music fit well with the game, but it wasn't nothing memorable. (*g)Lastability(*g) The lastability was fine, the game has only 8 stages and it turns more difficult while you pass the stages. Plus to that, this game was made for a game jam and it has a time limit for completing it, so it needed to be a short game. (*g)Overall(*g) It's a good game. I liked playing it, and the story makes you want to complete it for know what the enemy wanted. It was difficult in its own right, and has a good ending. Good job!
