It's time to get the guns out, it's time for some pedestrian hunting!! Alright, you can get them back in the box, they're all dead already. Presentation The game's presentation is pretty poor. The graphics consist of badly-drawn characters with pretty poor dying animations. Except of course from the flamethrower death, which is a must to see > Apart from that animation, the character justs falls down and morphs into a grave. Woohoo. Background elements doesn't look good, neither. No music nor sound effects hamper the game's fun factor even more. There should have been some scream sounds playing when you killed people. Gameplay The purpose of the game is cool, but it gets boring the second you started playing the game. You have 4 different firearms at your disposition: the machinegun, the shotgun, the bazooka and flamethrower. Each of the weapons got their own usefulness, except for the shotgun, which fire slowly and can't do much abuse than the machinegun nor any other weapon. Each of the gun looks the same, and you basically have to do nothing. Just hold the SHIFT key and mow down everybody down. You can play in 3 different areans, but there's barely any gameplay differences between them, so it doesn't really matter. Lastability Clearing each of the arenas will take about 30 seconds, so multiply that by 3 and you have... 1 minute and 30 seconds of gameplay. Once you've played through it, you are most likely to never boot the game again. Overall Destruction Zone is all about destruction, but unfortunately it seems that destruction is a boring thing to do. Some people may enjoy ripping off a bunch of unfortunate heads for a bit of time, but that kind of game ain't for me.
