Initially, Electroid had a fairly sketchy intro, use of the horrible system font, but things were to change...  GRAPHICS (9/10)
The graphics were very nice. The splash between levels was a nice touch, and generally in-game graphics all suited each other and were very nicely done. SOUND (5/10)
Suited the game but mostly library sounds or library-like sounding sounds. MUSIC (6/10)
Nice theme, but it ends there. The music was alright but nothing special. PRESENTATION (6/10)
In-game presentation was very nice with numerous special effects and cool explosions. However the menus, help screen and intro are not worthy at all of the game to follow. Definitely needs improving there. I still want to know why anyone in the universe uses the System font.  GAMEPLAY (10/10)

I've saved this to disk and I'm still playing it from since yesterday. This is a brilliant game! REPLAYABLITY (8/10)

Probably the best game I've played in a long, long time. The gameplay was fantastic which made up for the poor presentation and menu screens. A nice interface, cool bosses, fun to play, zero frustration factor. If you haven't got this game... get it.
