Can a light sized game from a relatively new klikker be very good? Find out in this cool titled hack 'n slash platformer. *Presentation The graphic style of the game is small and all the graphics are original. The movement animations of the main character are pretty nice but the rest of the characters are barely animated at all. The shooting enemies could have some sort of animation to show when they were going to shoot par example and the actual projectiles could also have been more outstanding (not least in the final battle) The collision effects are good, though. The music isn't original and mixes Street Fighter tunes with Pop Techno music. My personal opinion is that the latter one really doesn't fit in a game. *Playability The engine is, as far as I can tell, the standard platform movement and this always causes trouble. The collison programming isn't always correct but the sword fighting mostly flows pretty smooth. The blocking barrier would have profited in being an active object of itself instead of just an animation of the main character. The instrucions tells of multiple secret moves, but I only seemed to find the "sonic jump attack" and it was not very useful as the command for it, with the TAB key and all, was so unconvenient. *Lastability The amount of stages was well enough for a klik game like this, but they could have been a bit more variated and bigger. Although it suffers a little bit from programmers difficulty, it's fairly easy to fly through the game in 15 minutes the first time of play. And there isn't much to come back for after the game is finished, either. *Overall Sure it's a game with a lot of flaws but I found this game pretty charming with the theme and tiny graphics. Looking forward to some sequels with added experience from the author's side and maybe som more time in development.
