Condensed Soda is my very first demoscene presentation made in MMF. This demo is done in 'oldschool' style to show some of the power MMF has in creating visual effects. This demo was entered into an effects competition over at TK and has yet to be judged, but when it is, the source will be available for everyone to see. Some of the effects you will see in this demo are:

Voxels
Sinescrollers
Additive blending (hl style particle effects)
Polar axis particle rotation (I programmed in only 3 days so vectorballs were out of the question... this time)
Vectors (Flash movie embedding)
Oscilliscope (Wave shape reader, sort of)
2d/3d Starfields
Bezier-style arc based path movements
Music timed events

and more! :3

Credits:
Sprites by SCANEIDER
Music by LOONIE
Programming by NOBUYUKI
... and I did all the cool vectors and logos

Extensions used: DMC2 (by Izzy), TxtBlt (by Light)

You'll need around 128mb of RAM and a fast computer to run this! Computers with lower amounts of memory for the video fx tend to crash in the last scene! This is due to the amount of APO's there are in the oscilliscope. You'll also need BASS.DLL, which can be downloaded here:

Enjoy, and please give me your impressions!

SODA caused an invalid page fault in module CNCS232.DLL at 017f:1001affb. read the description until you understand P.S. stack dumps are meaningless

it also might be possible to stop the crashing (but you will lose some of the effects) by renaming or removing one of the files used in the last scene. L.BMP and R.BMP control the waveshaper's green and red Velocity display accordingly, while Brain.SWF controls the spinning brain. Usually, it's the APO that's at fault. (a memory leak in the object? I delete them when they disappear offscreen...)

Impressive I must say... But the text in the background always seems to be cutt off before I can read the whole message because it changes to the next scene too fast. It's only scrolling credits though so it doesn't really both me, just FYI

reaven: the Text Blitter's scrolling seems to not compensate for slowdowns in MMF's timer -- I cannot control it's speed with module timed events, either, so if your computer's not fast enough to handle it, you're gonna see it get cut off :)

The start with all the mushrooms looks GREAT. that would be perfect for title screens. Nice Work.

My computer is super crap and I managed to run the whole thing, at a decent speed too, even on full screen.
