You own a taxi company. The aim of the game is to put your rivals out of buisness. You do this by driving your taxi ourself, or by hireing employees to earn money for you. You can buy upgrades for your taxi and order to make it faster, or a more plesent experence for your customers. When you buy the cd player, you can play your own CDs in the background. You can also take part in street races in order to earn quick money, of course you could also lose that money.

Taxi dash 1.1 is now available. runs alot smoother
just click on the download link
now has the normal car movement so unfortunatly, you can turn while stopped.
I also found alot of bugs in the races, which ive fixed.

Oooer when you said it was VERY SLOW you weren't kidding. I have broadband, and am at 2% and theres 33 FREAKING MINUTES LEFT FOR THIS TO DOWNLOAD.

#$@! It always makes me turn right, so I can't play it, anyway to fix that? I turned off pedestrains and traffic but it still makes me turn right all the time and I keep crashing! AHHHHHH

This is the first time I think you should just use the Driving Movement. It would work much better than trying to code it. I can't even pick someone up, are you sure the Beta Testers actually tested and reviewed the game, if I was one I definetly mention the Taxi moving around the place. Please fix that. I really want to play it. :D

Ok that was...an odd experience. I have a pretty average system, not incredible but not utter crap. 256mb ram, 32mb gfx card, pentium 4 1.8ghz. However, the game ran at a snails pace even when taking off peds and cars. The controls were so unresponsive it was unreal-for example i'm coming up to a corner, so I hit right, and 2 seconds later it turns. And doesn't stop turning.

It has a bit of a bug in it. There was no slow down on my laptop though (2.6ghz, 256 RAM,32 MB gfx. Zane is fixing up the game to remove the few bugs as far as I know

omg man change the resolution a bit smaller cause full screen on your leven width aint good. if u want it full screen atleast make it 800x600

my computers only a AMD 900, and it runs fine... Oh wait.. the Geforce 4 might help it along.. Anyway, the game was pretty good, but zane you told me there was a way newer version, when will we see it?
