Yesh, here we go..

This is the first (and maybe the last) Metus BETA beta ever released which means that there still could be a lot of bugs in there. If you do find one, either report it to me or just let it be. In worst cases, just restart the game by pressing F2.

This is a game where I've been experimenting with much things I always wanted to do, but never thought that I was able to. There's still many things that I'd like to add.

Metus is an action RPG where you play as this character with different attributes and skills. You can modify these by gaining levels in combat.
The weapon-system is far from finished. I'm planning to have an weapon-drop from enemies in the future. Now you can only find potions and credits.
The weapon-system is also the thing that have been the most difficult and buggiest part of creating Metus. There's been many problems and things that haven't been
able to work under a few circumstances. I'm still developing this, so the one you see in this beta may not be the one in the final game.

As you might see in the beta, I haven't spent much time on making the sprites look good. This is mostly for you to experience the game-engine, not some astounding GFX.

There's also 2 MP3 songs included, composed by me. This is the main-reason why the filesize is rather large. I hope to improve that in the future.

Anyways. I hope you'll find this beta fun. After all, it's just a simple engine-test. Have fun!

I can not play it because it says it cannot load dmc2.cox.

The Resolution is bad when i play it I can not see the inventory and my health and armor.

I Downloaded dmc2.cox for it i think that is y the game is blurry and the resolution is bad.

This is an AWESOME game! I just wish I had some credits. I get down to 40/100 Hp quickly even when I use my apply thingy. :( And the graphics are AWESOME! I was expecting much less but you already have a quests and a working shop! Keep up the great work. :D

You cant unless I switch it and then lay it out as a new version, but I don't feel like taking the time to do such a thing now. After all, this is just the Beta, right? Many things will change until I'll release the full game, which includes the screensize.

I keep getting bugs when picking up the healing fruit. Sometimes it won't let me drop it into the inventory, and it just stays on the cursor with an open hand, not letting me talk or attack. Also, it crashed when I died. Otherwise, this game is very promising.
