Game of the Week Winner

HyperCube is a reflexion-game, gathering a panoply of levels, of which it will be necessary for you to use of logic, dexterity, and address. Gather your neurons to come to end from Hypercube, by determining the fate of your cube which must reach the exit, to rise at the next level. Good play and good luck...

Sorry for my bad English, I'm French. Thanks for your indulgence.

The backrounds looks excellent

Posted by Teapot 7th May, 2005

OOh, this looks nice and original, DLing.

I think 14 is impossible. I can work out only one solution and that requires a change in the postition of one of the Xs by one space. Excellent game though.

Posted by Teapot 7th May, 2005

Don't worry, I worked it out. This game really is cool.

I have a question: where is the exit tile at level 29(or was it 28?). There is just a moving block, arrow and that's all. Do we have to find it by random? And complete all previous levels all over? Btw, although there are several music tracks, music does not change when you go to next sector of the levels. Game is great.

The last 10 levels are very hard :D. Anyway, the game is great ! Nice work, Twiner ;)

Posted by wario 7th May, 2005

I beat the game, and the ending shows a porno XD its worth it ppl, keep playing it till you beat it!

Posted by wario 7th May, 2005

j/p, I only got to level 26 =(

Posted by Chrisbo 7th May, 2005

oh man I love reflexion... dl'ing :)

Posted by Noyb 7th May, 2005

Fun game, but it's really annoying having to keep replaying previous levels in the event of losing.

Posted by Twiner 8th May, 2005

Thank you very much for your comments :) level 28 : the exit is hidden in the background, find it before the block is not too advanced. level 26 : find the good way and would be in rhythm with the blocks. level 14 : I think it is difficult for a level of the second stage. You must take the good direction from the very start. If an English-player don't undestand the end of the game, send me an e-mail at kevinsoulas@hotmail.com and remember that you saw.

Posted by Twiner 8th May, 2005

Yes, when you lose, you replay the begin of stage, the reason is the bonus at end of the game... Persevere, and will arrive can be to obtain it !

I think this is a good game in it's class, but this is the class of game that I play for five minutes, get bored, then think oh jeez what a waste of five minutes.

Very good puzzle game. It's clear that the levels have been designed very carefully. Certain ones seem impossible at first, until you spot the (relatively) simple solution to them. Then you just feel like a sucker =P. However, replaying levels is irritating, no two ways about that. It's OK in a puzzle game with random blocks/elements, or action games where the enemy AI acts a bit different every time, but all you're doing here is repeating the exact same moves in each level.

Posted by Marco von Moos 9th May, 2005

Agreed. The repeating made me stop playing it. Otherwise it would be brilliant.

Posted by PlayfulGames 10th May, 2005

I concur

Posted by Twiner 10th May, 2005

Yes but this game require logic AND willpower. It's a good way to test your soul of player. And a few of player who will finish the game obtain a big bonus. At this time, 2 french players and 1 english player are finish the game...

You do realise a Hypercube is a 4-Dimensional Cube.

Posted by Eutteck 14th May, 2005

Nice backgrounds, but in some off the levels they are the same colour as some objects.

Posted by Brose 14th May, 2005

GODDAMNIT .. i got to level 40 and i got critical error

Posted by GrieferSutherland 16th May, 2005

nice game except not being able to save your progress is really annoying. i guess it defeats those who win levels by brute force though.

Posted by Trusketch 17th May, 2005

Overkill on the line effect, its an ok game though.

Although levels repeat,I replayed this game 3 times already. :) It's challenging, nice looking, fast paced, and with good music. Thumbs up!

Posted by PavelCZ 13th June, 2005

I did it!!! All 50 levels. Last 10 are easy. The worst are lvls 31-40.

I LOVE this game. I miss all the one screen puzzle games like The Adventures of LoLo on the Nes, Quirk on the Gameboy, Chew man Fu and Splash Lake on the Turbo Grafx 16 and Chu Chu Rocket on the Dreamcast. This game brings back the times when games were simple, unique, and incredibly immersive. Excellent game Twiner, you really have what it takes when it comes to solid game design!
