This game is great! Reminds me of all the old shooting games you can find in the really old downloads section, like triumph. It's solid, and awesome to play with friends! Great work Mark Radon!

I'm going to have to deduct 1 star for the same reason as MacAdaM. I know its pretty tricky but adding bots would make it really good.

nevertheless its good to see a decent game which isn't a cute cuddly platformer with bright colours, that makes me sick... in the face.

What's wrong with cute cuddly platformer?

..nothing, i just can't be bothered to play them since they generally tend to be very similar to each other.. lots of jumping, jumping on things heads, jumping over things heads... jumping, thats whats wrong .

It's okay. I'd like 1 player a lot. This would be excellent online play!

Wow, this is much better than I had anticipated.
The graphics/music/sounds/gameplay is great!
I'm glad it has joypad support!

Posted by Marko 24th July, 2008

I agree about the 1-player support and did attempt to include it late into development, but the results didn't satisfy me. It's something i definitely WILL include in future versions!

Wonderful frag game! High quality and beautifully made. Online multiplayer or singleplayer possibilities would have gotten my fifth star.

What I liked most was the style of the menus and overall graphics. The menus were made with excellent feeling for layout design.

It was quite good, but I think some of the weapons are quite overpowered. Also I think all players should be able to be hurt by explosions, it's quite weird that you can just play around with grenades and not get hurt at all. And the way that you appear to the play area by pressing shoot is quite strange.

Otherwise it was great, and especially the level design was quite brilliant!

Very interesting. The controls were a little too simple, something you don't often have trouble with in a shooting game. I enjoyed this for a little while, but it would be alot more fun with either one-player modes or online components. I think I honestly enjoyed tennis 2002 a bit more. Good job, Mistah Radon! Another gem under your belt.

I couldn't properly enjoy this because my freinds aren't really into click games. I like all of the variety though! If you have a future version with 1 player, I think it should be something where the world is in anarchy and run by gangs, maybe a post apocalypse GTA style game?

00:45 on Sunday 27/07/08 - 101 downloads! Thank you so much everyone for the kind words and valuable comments concerning R.P.G., i am so very grateful! This game has a special place in my heart and my memories as it's both the most polished and the most complete game i've ever made. I hope everyone gets as much enjoyment out of it as i have!

....and i cannot wait to upload my next project!

Cool graphics.

My friend keeps getting blown up.

Addictive Gameplay

I still have it.

Just 1 slight glitch.

And the glitch is that sometimes the gun doesn't fire when moving diagonally but its not that big of a proble.

It's a cool game, and congratulations on completing it I found a few minor problems that you might want to look into:
*There seems to be no way to exit a battle other than pressing F2 to restart the game, or alt+f4 to quit.
*If you kill someone while they are holding down fire with the machine gun, they will continue "firing" while dead, draining their ammo and making a loud noise.
*The readme says "ctrl" is fire, but really "shift" is.
*I played a game of virus (3-player) and no matter what I did, poor player 3 seemed unable to score any points, players 1 and 2 seemed to get points from infecting people but nothing happened when player 3 did. Also why does the kill counter increment by 2 for one kill?
*There doesn't appear to be a user-friendly way to change controls- sure you can press ctrl+y, but who in the non-klik community is going to know that?
*The readme is written in such a way that the text spills over the side of the page and isn't readable.

I know that's a lot of things I've picked out but take it as constructive criticism- I really am only trying to help. The game is great all the same!

As you've already said that you'll create a 1-Player mode for later versions, I won't bother commenting on that point.

I'm afraid I was, strangely, slightly disappointed with this game. Whilst I was in the menus, starting up a game, I was very excited. The presentation and navigation of the menu screens are top-notch.

However, then the game started and I felt a little let down. Without all the fancy menus and stuff, it's almost like a common TDC game. Graphics don't bother me as long as they're well-polished, so I won't comment on them, because the graphics were, at least, well polished. Image.

However, the gameplay was a little tedious, the arenas were all rather small and it seemed to me that certain weapons were specifically aligned for certain stages.

It's also difficult to quit the current game. F2 to restart or the usual Alt+F4 to quit. That's the only ways I found to quit the game, which was rather irritating.

The different game conditions is definitely a good addition. It surely helped the game's enjoyment factor.

However, I still feel as if a lot of things needs to be improved to be raised to the standards of the way the menu looks.

Please don't feel I'm picking on your game! It's still a good game, but has plenty of room for improvement. I eagerly await a new version release. Image

@Bricnic - The text spills over the side of the ReadMe...? You need to word wrap it.

Havent had the chance to play it, but it looks like this would have been great as an online fragfest. Oh well, just have to invite a friend to come and play it at my PC then..

Yeah, do that - it's fantastic with mates in the same room! Hope you enjoy the game
