Hello.

This is a one-stage demo of a game i have been making for the last week or so (which just so happens to be mine and BeamSplashX's entry for the Tourey competition).

The demo is one stage for the game 'A Day In The Life'. The game is at a very early stage and is set to be a very unique and (definitely) original title that involves a variety of genres, as well as a little bit of naughty humour!

The controls for the game are explained during the demo's dialogue, but additional controls are as follows;

o Quit game = ESC
o Continue through dialogue = SPACE

Also note that in order to effectively clean car windscreens, Marko needs to wipe in an anti-clockwise fashion!

Let me know what you think guys, i'm very open to suggestions and opinions!

(P.S. If this doesn't work your arm muscles, you obviously clean too many cars! Check out the game's novel way of washing windscreens - no other Click game has controls like it, trust me!)

i played the version you posted in the forum and i must say. it seemed ok until i actually had to wash the cars.

swirling the mouse around is a tad annoying. and i couldnt wash more than three cars and failed every time.

Hmmm, maybe it's a little too hard, i know i guaged it on how well i could do it, and i managed all 8 with 2/3 seconds to spare. But thanx for the feedback, i'll take it on-board.

Anyone else done all 8 yet??

Cool idea!
Why is it that you move the instructor around with wasd, instead of the player, during the tutorial?
It was too hard for me also, I only managed to clean two. Perhaps it has to do with the mouse sensetivity or something?

Since it is so little to do, I rate it low. Though, with many more mini-games in the same theme, and with new creative controls, this could be a winner.

Thanx, Zezard. As for the instructor moving, i'm afraid that's just an oversight from me - oops! It is also possible that the circle made by the mouse movements when cleaning the window wasn't quite big enough, but for sure the mouse sensitivity caould also be playing a part.

I think i may have licked the problem - i forgot to instruct the player to scrub the windows in an anti-clockwise direction! Marko is right-handed, you see.....!
