"Then you've wasted hours of programming for a crappy hackable INI hi-score table when you could have used a hi-score object for exact the same results. "
It only takes 15 minutes max to put together a custom scoreboard that can look about 10x better then the standard Hi-Score object, and you have complete control over it.
And you can just Encrypt the Ini if your that worried about it being hacked, but i guess the Hi-Score object's way isnt a "crappy hackable INI hi-score table" *cough* C:\WINDOWS\cncsave.ini *cough*
If you want a static-looking Hi-Score board then use the Hi-Score object.
If you want a unique Hi-Score board with total control use Ini/Array.

you guys rely too much on your fancy string parsers, what ever happened to the insanley large mathmatical calculations that gave completely garbled results and check sum functions. Someone who'd go through the trouble to hack a klik game might as well just memory hack.
Craps, I'm an old man!

I really dont give a shite if someone wants to hack a game of mine, if they want to then go ahead and do it i say. I myself dont encrypt any of my INI files just an example to "Aggeee" that INI's can be secure if you want them to be.

Hmm... I've just found out that the normal highscore object doesn't work in all computers... Or it does work but it does not save the scores... Why might this be? With my computer I don't have such problems but my game in my friends comuter doesn't save the scores. Could it be about some windows security thingy or something?

Yeah, make a new topic. Making a new topic is better than resurrecting one, i this case.
