Yeah, I have finally made some music again and I decided to share it with you!
http://davince.websitemaster.org/music/mysterious.zip

It's zipped because my current host does not support .it files to be downloaded directly anymore. That's gonna change, tho.

Oh, and sorry for not being around a lot lately. Guess the TDC gets a bit boring for me...

Yeah, but 'upgraded' mods. They have more options and stuff. And they can contain more and better effects. And they have VST effects, modifyable row lengths etcetera.

You can best open the with Modplug Tracker: www.modplug.com .

@Klikmaster: WinAmp sucks at playing mods. It screws up all effects.
@Snerlin: Yeah, I just noticed it's down at the moment. Try again later...

Hey, as long as it plays my .it music correctly...

Anyways, no one said anything about what they think of the music... If you like it you may use it in any game freely!

AAAARGH! My webpage just got deleted without warning, so I couldn't backup my site! Now I'll have to wait and add the link again later!

I thought .it files were more or less compressed versions of .mods

GOTM 3TH PLACE WINNER - JANUARY 2010
14th June, 2005 at 09:53:29 -

The only mod format that uses compressed samples is *.MO3 . Itīs from the makers of BASS.DLL . *.MO3 can use MP3 samples or OGG samples . Which drastically decreases the MOD size . The MO3/UnMO3 utility can be found here . It converts an mod into an MO3:

http://www.un4seen.com/

Unfortunately there is no extension to play MO3 in MMF . Calling the extension developers at this place . Still, i fear that there may be a conflict with MP3 encoding here . Licence issues . So i donīt think that we will see MO3 support for MMF ...

One thing for VST effects in *.it mods : Plays fine in Modplug tracker . But play it with an MMF Mod extension in an app, and all VST effects are gone .

The only efects that can be used in an MMF App is the DirectX ones , using Modfusion Ex ( not sure if the current available version of Modfusion Ex supports that . I have asked Josh to implement this feature . He did ( thanx again ), and it was downloadable in the Extension section of the Clickteam Board some months ago. Which i did ... ) . Still, tweaking the DX effects into the right timing is a pain .

Too bad that the MPT page is down at the moment . But Modplug Tracker is Open Source . And can also be found at sourceforge.net :

http://sourceforge.net/projects/modplug/
