Yeah, but 'upgraded' mods. They have more options and stuff. And they can contain more and better effects. And they have VST effects, modifyable row lengths etcetera.
You can best open the with Modplug Tracker: www.modplug.com .
The only mod format that uses compressed samples is *.MO3 . Itīs from the makers of BASS.DLL . *.MO3 can use MP3 samples or OGG samples . Which drastically decreases the MOD size . The MO3/UnMO3 utility can be found here . It converts an mod into an MO3:
Unfortunately there is no extension to play MO3 in MMF . Calling the extension developers at this place . Still, i fear that there may be a conflict with MP3 encoding here . Licence issues . So i donīt think that we will see MO3 support for MMF ...
One thing for VST effects in *.it mods : Plays fine in Modplug tracker . But play it with an MMF Mod extension in an app, and all VST effects are gone .
The only efects that can be used in an MMF App is the DirectX ones , using Modfusion Ex ( not sure if the current available version of Modfusion Ex supports that . I have asked Josh to implement this feature . He did ( thanx again ), and it was downloadable in the Extension section of the Clickteam Board some months ago. Which i did ... ) . Still, tweaking the DX effects into the right timing is a pain .
Too bad that the MPT page is down at the moment . But Modplug Tracker is Open Source . And can also be found at sourceforge.net :
Well, i was thinking of simple Sound Studio by...Novasoft. Because its well, simple, but if this other sound studio is good, help a brotha out, even though im not black. ThxOrs.

The DMC2 object can play MO3 files if you use a suitable version of bass.dll. I found out that using the bass.dll file that was provided with the games made by Popcap Games (http://www.popcap.com) would enable MO3 support for the DMC2 plugin object. Don't download the one that is found on un4seen.com, since DMC2 can't even recognize it.
The only problem with DMC2 lies if you plan to make your game commercial. Bass.dll has a really steep licensing price and unless you really manage to release a game that will become popular, it's basically a waste of money. If your games are free, there's nothing bad about it.
Lol, nice words. Well, i recently got Frooty Loops whatever.0!!! It's alot better than Nova's non-working garbage! (just because it doesnt work, its still good ) but yeah, thanks anyways.
Heyya, what you sayya?

Except that it couldn't save.
Hm, I'm gonna upload this music to my other webhost so you people can still listen.
Btw, Fruityloops sucks. But that's just me cause I don't like loops.
To phizzy, i meant it doesnt work as in the link doesnt work, but yeah, Nova's program seems pretty cool but its just too much work loading in every little sound and all that, but still a good program.
