Would anyone be interested in doing a really small amount of animation for my game? I'm good at makes the sprites, and programming, but I'm terrible at animating. All I need is for one sprite to be animated. I'll put your name in the credits
Please post here if interested.

Good luck man, that's the hardest part of making a game's graphics IMO.

How does the sprite look and what do you need it to do.
Let me know... I may be able to help you out.

Use Flash to do your drawing and animation and import your frames into MMF. Looks and works very well.

I'm confused. Why would you use Flash to draw whats going to end up being pixel art?

The tools in flash just makes your sprites look cleaner and the tools are easier to use when animating.

uh yeah, it turns it into non pixel art, which probably won't fit in with the rest of game.

Yeah that isn't pixel art >_> as far as I'm concerned anyway. And flash art is only good for games that use it for everything, like flash games!

Even if you want to consider using Flash to mix in with pixel art, at least make sure that line antialiasing is turned off.

Most graphics in Sketchy Dude are made in Flash. But then again, those are way simple graphics.

Not really. Onion skin and the other animation tools in Flash can make it that much easier, and when you're done you can polish things with some actual pixel art a bit.

Flash does make some games look good. You can make some cartoons that look real clean once you touch it up with the editor. Although, it takes a huge amount of time.
