Most graphics in Sketchy Dude are made in Flash. But then again, those are way simple graphics. Old member (~2004-2007).

Onion skin and the other animation tools in Flash can make it that much easier, and when you're done you can polish things with some actual pixel art a bit. Old member (~2004-2007).
