I don't think it's fair to compare exe highscore games to vitalize games. The downloads page moves games down the list into the abyss, and files get lost in harddrives, and it's bothersome to load up exe games. Vitalize games can be a few clicks away, and whoever visits TDC would be constantly reminded that they're there. Sites specializing in arcade games fizzle because all they offer is arcade games, and people eventually move on. If TDC had an arcade, it wouldn't be the only thing that kept TDC alive.
You have a bunch of members sitting on the forums page pressing F5 every minute or so, they could be wasting their time more efficiently.

5. If no one plays a game for a month, and it has a Keep/No Keep ratio of 1:1 or worse, drop it.
*Admins will have very strict rules on this. If two games of the same type (for example snake) are submitted, admins can turn it down (with exceptions).
I don't know much about how websites work, si the above may be completely useless.
Games smaller then 200kb might actually encourage spam of minigames.
This has been in my plans for a while, though I've never been to sure if it'd be worth implimenting, I wasn't sure if people would actually use it or not.. I'll probably end up adding all my old games from ClubsCade if we do go ahead with it though, just need to develop an extension to encrypt scores a bit like I did with ClubsCade, nothing too hard to do though
I think this is a good idea. Personally, I only have time these days to make short, arcade games.

Funny, I was thinking of starting and maintaining an arcade when the Clickzine gets integrated with TDC, where I and other people create arcade games to play every so much time. Flava was also planning to implement that especially so I could do that. But I guess a (two-)weekly or monthly features arcade game is still different than just peoples' own vitalize games and descriptions, no?
